Game 1
Penn State Beaver put forth a solid effort but ultimately fell 3–1, managing only a single run on 6 hits with no errors. The Beavers struck first in the top of the second inning when Rheece Barone launched a solo home run to left, briefly giving Penn State Beaver a 1–0 advantage. The team generated consistent contact throughout the game, including a double from JT Stubbs, but couldn't string hits together to produce a multi-run inning.
On the mound, Justin Perera delivered a strong complete-game performance, pitching 6.0 innings while allowing 3 runs and striking out 9. He kept KSUT off the scoreboard through the first three innings, but the fourth inning proved pivotal as KSUT scored twice to seize the lead. An insurance run in the sixth extended their advantage, and despite Penn State Beaver's efforts in the final innings, they were unable to mount a tying rally. Barone (2-for-3, HR, RBI) and Stubbs (2-for-3, double) led the offensive effort, but the difference ultimately came down to one big inning and the lack of timely hitting.
Game 2
Penn State Beaver showed early offensive promise but defensive struggles were costly in a shortened game, finishing with 3 runs on 6 hits and 5 errors. The Beavers jumped out to a quick lead in the first inning when Mason Hsu reached base and eventually scored on an RBI groundout by Nathan Doutt. In the second, Omar DeGarcia scored on an RBI double by Rheece Barone, giving the team a brief edge.
The momentum shifted in the third inning, however, as KSUT erupted for an 11-run frame. A combination of timely hitting by the Eagles and Penn State Beaver defensive miscues extended the inning and led to multiple unearned runs. Penn State Beaver rotated through three pitchers but could not stop the surge. KSUT added more runs in the fourth to put the game out of reach.
Despite the deficit, the Beavers added a final run in the fifth when Chris Cann scored on a bases-loaded walk by DeGarcia. Offensively, Barone and Matt Helmer contributed doubles, and the team also drew three walks. However, the five defensive errors proved decisive, prolonging innings and allowing KSUT to capitalize. While Penn State Beaver showed flashes of solid hitting early, the defensive lapses ultimately determined the outcome.
