Sam Sharpless enters his first season as an assistant men's soccer coach and will primarily be working with the goal keepers.

Under Van Kirk, Sharpless was a four year starter in goal amassing over 3800 minutes as the netminder.  With a career record of 15-12, Sam helped lead the team to one PSUAC Championship, one PSUAC runner-up and one USCAA Tournament appearance.  He has been named a Penn State Beaver Student-Athlete of the Year (2016, 2017 ), USCAA Academic All-American (2017, 2018), USCAA Player of the Week (1 time),  PSUAC All-Conference (2016, 2018 ), PSUAC Academic All-Conference (2016, 2017, 2018) and PSUAC Player of the Week (7 times).
