Win Streak stays Alive on the Road Once Again for the Lady Lions

Greensburg, PA - The Lady Lions traveled to take on the Bobcats of Pitt-Greensburgh today in a non-conference match-up to round out their road-trip weekend before a week long holiday break. After a tough fought game the Lions cam out victorious finishing the game with a final score of 71-60. Outscoring their opponents in 3 quarters they were able to make up the lost points from trailing in the first quarter. This win helps the Lions continue their win streak and remian undefeated in regular season play.

Leading the stats line for Beaver today was Sophomore, Kiera Baker (Houston, TX) who had 26 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 blocks, and 1 assist in 30 minutes of play. Junior, Kyra Seggewiss (Calgary Alberta, Canada) helped the Lions with 9 points, 5 rebounds, and an impressive 4 assists. Other top scorers for Beaver today were Freshman, Anissa Mata (San Antonio, TX) and Junior, Caitlyn O'Hara (Norco, CA) who scored 8 and 7 points respectively. Freshman, Daniela Guzman (Plainview, TX) and O'Hara both pulled down 6 rebounds for Beaver today, and Junior, Alison Boykins (Canton, OH) had and impressive 5 assists on the day.

The Lions are now 5-0 in the regular season and 3-0 in PSUAC conference play going into the week break. Their next game will be on Tuesday, November 29th at Penn State Shenango where they will take on another PSUAC match-up.
